Shunyo pochází z Londýna, ze kterého se v sedmdesátých letech vydala až do Indie, kde se učila praxi bdělého vědomí. V těsné blízkosti svého učitele Osha pobývala 14 let. Nyní už je to více než 40 let, co praktikuje OSHO meditace®. V současné době se věnuje šíření povědomí o meditaci po celém světě. Sdílí svoje zkušenosti, vede meditační kurzy, Vipassana retreaty a skupiny pro ženy. Rovněž dělá výcviky i pro ty, kteří se sami chtějí stát učiteli meditace. Důležitou částí její práce je hudba, tanec a oslava. Což ve spojení s jejím intuitivním a velmi srdečným vedením umožňuje účastníkům jejích seminářů dosáhnout velmi hlubokých úrovní klidu a ticha.

„Nepotřebujeme si na meditaci vyhrazovat jednu nebo dvě hodiny denně a tiše sedět, ale učíme se způsoby, které můžeme použít, třeba když se na něco díváme nebo když něco posloucháme.“

Originating from London, Shunyo travelled to India in the 1970’s and her training in awareness and meditation began whilst living close to the mystic, Osho for fourteen years, as part of his personal staff. Osho is renowned for his revolutionary contribution to the science of inner transformation. She has been practicing Osho’s meditation techniques for over forty years, and through many learning experiences she has found her calling in sharing meditation through retreats, as well as training others to teach meditation. Music and movement are an important part of her work and her intuition, heartfulness, and presence helps participants tap into deeper levels of peace and silence. Shunyo also travels throughout the world doing meditation events for all ages and all types of people as well as groups for women. She is Director of the Osho Institute for Vipassana and Zazen.

Her book “My Diamond Days with Osho” is translated in eight languages.
